How It Works

Our solar installation process

From the initial site visit to system activation, VServe Solar handles every step in-house.

  • STEP 1 Site Assessment

An engineer visits your property to evaluate roof condition, electrical panel capacity, shading, and your current consumption pattern.

  • STEP 2 System Design & Quotation

We size the system to your kilowatt-hour usage and roof footprint, and deliver an itemised bill of materials with a fixed quotation.

  • STEP 3 Permits & Net Metering Application

Distribution-utility paperwork, single-line diagrams, and Meralco Net Metering enrollment are handled end-to-end on your behalf.

  • STEP 4 Installation & Commissioning

Mounting, wiring, inverter setup, monitoring configuration, and full electrical safety testing are completed by our certified crew.

  • STEP 5 Activation, Monitoring & Maintenance

Your system goes live and is monitored remotely. Free cleaning is included after the first year of operation.

How Meralco Net Metering and RA 9513 work

Republic Act 9513 — the Renewable Energy Act of 2008

Under RA 9513, end-users in the Philippines may install renewable energy facilities of up to one hundred (100) kilowatts on their property. The law establishes the legal framework for renewable energy adoption and the incentives that go with it.

Excess electricity exported to the grid is credited against your monthly bill through the Meralco Net Metering Program. VServe Solar handles the documentation, single-line diagrams, and distribution-utility coordination required to enroll your system — you do not deal with Meralco directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Vserve Solar FAQ

Answer: Solar panels work by converting sunlight into electricity through photovoltaic cells. These cells generate direct current (DC) electricity when exposed to sunlight, and an inverter then converts it into alternating current (AC) electricity for use in your home.

Answer: Yes, solar panels can still generate electricity on cloudy days, although their efficiency may be reduced. They can capture diffused sunlight and still produce power even when the sun is not shining brightly.

Answer: The space needed depends on your energy consumption and the efficiency of the solar panels. On average, a 1 kW solar panel system requires about 100 square feet of roof space.

Answer: A solar inverter is essential as it converts the DC electricity generated by solar panels into AC electricity used in your home. It ensures compatibility with your existing electrical system.

Answer: Solar panels generally have a lifespan of 25-30 years, and many come with warranties for at least 20 years. Regular maintenance can help extend their longevity.

Answer: Yes, by adding a battery storage system, you can store excess energy generated during the day for use at night or during power outages.

Answer: The cost varies based on the system size and components. On average, a 3-5 kW system can cost between PHP 200,000 to PHP 500,000. Government incentives and financing options can help reduce costs.

Answer: In the Philippines, the Net Metering Program allows you to sell excess energy back to the grid, reducing your electricity bill. Additionally, the government offers tax incentives and rebates for solar installations.

Answer: While it’s possible for DIY enthusiasts, it’s recommended to hire a professional installer. They ensure proper installation, compliance with regulations, and eligibility for government incentives.

Answer: Regular cleaning, checking for debris, and occasional professional inspections are usually sufficient for maintenance. Cleaning can be done with water and a mild detergent, avoiding abrasive materials.

We use Anchor Panasonic Solar Panels, ISO certified with the highest international standards for guaranteed longevity, high module (electricity) conversions even in weak sunlight, and tested durability against harsh weather.
