Three system types. One that fits your property.
Grid-tie, hybrid or off-grid — we size and recommend the right setup based on your roof, your kilowatt-hour load, and how much independence from the grid you want.
Grid Tie
A solar power setup that connects directly to the utility grid, allowing seamless integration of solar production and conventional electricity. Ideal for reducing electricity bills and promoting renewable energy.
Direct connection to the grid
- Solar energy complements grid electricity
- Power from your panels is used first, with any excess exported to the grid
No battery requirement
- No energy storage needed, reducing initial cost and maintenance
- Solar energy is consumed in real time
Hybrid
Combines the benefits of grid-tied and off-grid by integrating solar panels, a battery storage system and a grid connection. Store solar energy for later while keeping the grid as backup — ideal for areas with unreliable supply or anyone maximising energy independence.
Energy storage
- Batteries store excess daytime solar for night-time or power outages
- Enables real energy independence and reliability
Grid connectivity
- Draws from the grid during low solar production or if the battery is depleted
- Excess solar can be exported to the grid with net metering
Off Grid
A stand-alone solar power system that operates independently of the utility grid — designed for remote locations or areas where grid access is unavailable or unreliable. Off-grid systems rely entirely on solar and battery storage, providing complete energy independence.
Standalone operation
- Does not connect to the utility grid
- Supplies power exclusively from solar energy and stored battery power
Battery storage
- Excess daytime solar is stored for use at night or in cloudy weather
- Ensures consistent supply even when solar production is low
